The drive from Münster to what I call ‘The Dorf’, wasn’t that far. We had Si and Anita in tow again and since Danny was driving I was relegated to the back because we only have 3 legal seats in Zia. This is pretty funny since we are a 2-piece and Zia is pretty much the biggest van any band uses in the world. We are told this at EVERY SINGLE VENUE WE ARRIVE AT.

Anita the silly mole, left their passports in the safe of their hotel room in Köln so it’s pretty good luck that we didn’t get pulled over by the cops, with me on stowed on a timber bench and only half the part carrying passports!

So we arrived at the great little rock club that is ‘Pitcher’ and the dudes had to borrow the van to go get their passports from Koln (only 25 mins away – yay Germany), we sound checked.

We rocked into the gig and were pretty happy to sell just over 30 tickets on a Sunday in a town we’ve never been to with no support acts. They were an enthusiastic bunch, moshing, singing, cheering, it was a great little show. We played 2 encores and that was that. Andy the owner was a legend.

One kid had a copy of STU he bought at one of our shows in Byron. It was pretty crazy to see the Oz artwork copy over here. He wanted it signed again. It would be weird if he made a habit out of this at every future show? Our cd just covered in our signatures. Made me want to make sure we have a new album next time. Ha

We went out with this crazy couple that were keen to show us the town, it didn’t last long. Shit got weird, they were really nice but they would have a heated argument every 5 minutes followed (every time) by make up pashes, right in front of us! Not our best tour guides. It was really quiet too so we bailed and it wasn’t a late one which was good considering the Glenn Hughes show is back on and we’re now getting ready to head to Paris to rock the legendary Le Divan Du Monde! Can’t wait. F**K Yeah!

Cheers
