Today was another travel day. Last night’s gig at Hipster in Rouen was just excellent. Cedric was an amazing host and well, we’re paying for it today.

We went back to the venue to pick up our gear and had a great lunch with Cedric (amazing pizza and calzone) and took off for the next location. It started with out Tomtom having a field day with us, one wrong turn took us a while out of the way on a toll road we couldn’t turn back on, yay. After getting on track our destination was Paris to pick up a late delivery of our cds. We sold out the night before so had these ready to go. Our record label guy Eric was staying there the night before to had them delivered. It was just a quick stop in but from a distance we saw the Eiffel Tower, which was super cool! Paris is so big. The hotel ended up being in the middle of Moulin Rouge.

Cd’s in had we headed towards our next gig location which is the Thunderbird Lounge in Saint Etienne, 5 hours away so we drove about 4 hours and stopped at an Ibis on the highway. A good night’s sleep was needed as tomorrow is the start of an 8 gig run.
